Observed events since the 1940s that involved "foo fighters" trailing both allied and axis pilots during world war 2 presented a new mystery to solve. A single observation by a civilian pilot in the state of Washington during the summer of 1947 would assure that significant attention would be directed towards this mystery over subsequent decades.
Prospects for the exposure of the actual realities and features behind UFOs seemed to dramatically rise following the New York Times publishing on December 16 2017 a report on a secret Defense Department program that examined reports by military personnel of UFO sightings. Three videos taken by Navy pilots were also published, causing widespread coverage.
(We will generally use "UFO" as the referencing term despite "UAP", for Unidentified Aerial or Anomalous Phenomena, being adopted by the press, government officials, members of Congress, and others.)
A lot has happened since that ground-breaking day and this diary will be an attempt to revisit key moments and revelations. There is also the opportunity to examine the varied impact and perspectives manifesting in individuals, thanks to the very active setting of "ufotwitter". While ufotwitter (or "ufox") has been a useful news resource, and often an illuminating debate forum, there are also disturbing negative developments in that setting needing careful addressing.
Entries to this diary will revisit what has happened on different fronts since the December 2017 New York Times article.
When doing that the entry section will be labeled HISTORY. Otherwise entry sections will be labeled as CURRENT.

Academics and astronomers from northern Europe have been examining for a few years photographic plates taken for a sky survey by the Palomar Observatory in the 1950s before the 1957 launch of Sputnik. Now there are two peer reviewed papers on this study published by esteemed journals.

Text:
Unexpected patterns in historical astronomical observations
Researchers at Nordita at Stockholm University have analyzed flashes of light on astronomical plates from the early 1950s and found statistical connections between the times of these flashes, nuclear weapons tests and reports of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP). The results are presented in two studies published in Scientific Reports and Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific.
Researchers at Nordita, Stockholm University, together with international colleagues at Vanderbilt University, have published two new studies that show that historical astronomical observations contain unexpected patterns. The results are based on short-lived flashes of light captured on photographic plates from the early 1950s within the VASCO project (Vanishing & Appearing Sources during a Century of Observations). The project analyzes digitized astronomical plates to identify sources that blink, disappear or suddenly appear – and in this way better understand both natural and previously unexplained phenomena.
“Today we know that short flashes of light are often solar reflections from flat, highly reflective objects in orbit around the Earth, such as satellites and space debris. But the photographic plates analyzed in VASCO were taken before humans had satellites in space,” says Beatriz Villarroel, a researcher at Nordita at Stockholm University.
The first article, published in Scientific Reports (Nature Portfolio), analyzes over 106,000 flashes of light, or transients, that look like stars appearing and disappearing within a single exposure. The study shows statistical connections between the phenomena, reports of UAP, and atmospheric nuclear weapons tests during the 1950s. The flashes were 68 percent more likely to occur the day after a nuclear weapons test than on days without. In addition, the number of flashes increases by an average of 8.5 percent for each report of UAP. When both these reports and nuclear tests coincided, the effects were additive, with more than twice as many flashes of light as on days without either nuclear tests or reports.
“The magnitude of the association between these flashes of light and nuclear tests was surprising, as was the very specific time at which they most often occurred—namely, the day after a test. What they might represent is a very fascinating question that needs further investigation,” says Stephen Bruehl of Vanderbilt University.
The second paper, published in Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific (PASP), specifically looks for signs of possible extraterrestrial artifacts in orbit around Earth, before the first human satellite launch in 1957. The researchers looked, among other things, for instances where multiple flashes of light were along a line or in a narrow band—something that indicates reflections from flat, reflective objects in motion. Two interesting examples were identified, one of which occurred on July 27, 1952, the same night as the notable sightings of UAP in Washington, D.C.
The same article tests a method that the research team recently published in the Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society (MNRAS): comparing how often the phenomena occur in the Earth's shadow, where solar reflections cannot occur. The new article in PASP, which again studies more than 106,000 transients seen across the northern starry sky, shows a clear deficit of flashes of light in the Earth's shadow, with one-third missing, suggesting that at least one-third of the phenomena were caused by solar reflections from highly reflective objects in high orbits.
For a long time, single points of light on astronomical plates have been dismissed as defects, even when they looked like real stars. The new studies show that some of these phenomena are actually real objects and exhibit patterns that cannot be explained by chance or image noise.
“Amidst what has been perceived as noise on the plates, there seems to be a genuine population of phenomena that correlate with, among other things, nuclear weapons tests or reports of UAP and that are missing in the Earth's shadow. You don't get that kind of solar reflections from round objects like asteroids or dust grains in space, which leave streaks during a 50-minute exposure, but only if something is very flat and very reflective and reflects the sunlight with a short flash,” says Beatriz Villarroel.
The researchers suggest that the results are unexpected and indicate that some of the small dots on the plates may be due to reflections from physical objects in high orbit around the Earth.

HISTORY
Initial excitable hopes for a new administration engineering a UFO disclosure have evaporated over the first 10 months of dystopian governance. The UAP Disclosure Act, proposed for the third time by Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer and Republican Senator Mike Rounds, failed again in being added as an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act.
There was some excitement shared widely by the news media in the form of an unvetted and inconclusive military video shared by Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna in a September UFO hearing conducted by an offshoot task force group from the House Oversight Committee. CBS News at its Face the Nation youtube channel posted video of that full hearing:
The above was the third Congressional hearing regarding "UAP" with the summer of 2023 one featuring the testimony of David Grusch still critically needing followup from willing whistleblowers. Unfortunate indications from reporting reveal allegations that whistleblowers are being seriously harassed and threatened.
Some influential voices on UFOtwitter and elsewhere have expressed in the last few days a depressed view that at least the
disclosure prospects have stalled (if not completely ended for the time being).

Have started watching the proceedings of the 3rd Sol Foundation gathering, this one held far away from its Stanford home in Italy. I can watch the proceedings virtually due to having a membership (at affordable level for seniors and students, $150 per year). The video will later be freed up for everyone to watch.
Marik con Rennenkampf spoke first, introducing Sol co-founder Garry Nolan who then introduced the other co-founder Peter Skafish. Then the first speaker, Beatriz Villarroel, gave her presentation on what now will become "breaking news" worldwide. (See previous entry posting of news release from Stockholm University.)
Garry Nolan said his email inbox was full of inquiries from academics wanting to know how they could help with examining the UAP mystery. Acknowledging Colonel Karl Nell's recent pessimistic take on things (the disclosure mo jo has stalled, new moves needed), Nolan optimistically expressed the view that "this is not baseball" and the failure of the UAPDA to pass after 3 attempts doesn't mean that we have struck out on the disclosure front. Instead, he noted, the civilian role in exposing UAP realities can be crucial.
Peter Skafish in his very brief opening remarks identified The Sol Foundation functions as a think tank engaged in public study and education which in turn helps develop public policy guidance.
After Beatriz Villarroel presented her incredibly newsworthy findings, Colonel Karl Nell was introduced. His presentation focused on 3 areas: the nature of knowledge; lines of evidence; and efforts in Congress to promote disclosure via a Congressional briefing book and other efforts.
Colonel Nell first discussed potentially deluding limits exercised in applying the basis to "true belief". The basis for knowledge includes foundational facts, belief justified by othe beliefs and self-supporting evidence (ie sensor data or documents).
He noted that the stigma around the subject was still strong and suggested that one fruitful effort could be directed to helping people unlearn what they think they currently know in order to reserve judgement.
Nell tried to characterize features of the 80 year history of ufology in comparison to the characteristics of "five good Roman Emperors" during an 84 year period of that early history. He asserts that the current phase of ufology is characterized by "great expectations".
Nell, in his concluding remarks and in the q and a session immediately afterwards, expanded upon his recent interview remarks opining that disclosure efforts had stalled and we needed new strategies. "One man's opinion", he exclaimed when an audience member asked him about this.
At the end of his speech he described lobbying efforts in Congress that he felt were getting diminishing returns. Specifically he mentioned the tools of whistleblower testimony and a prepared briefing book of 21 declassified documents, videos and transcripts of three whistleblower testimonies.
Colonel Nell echoed Garry Nolan's optimism regarding other potential strategies, involving civilian efforts from the now aligned efforts of 14 UAP-related groups.
The next speaker was introduced by Jacques Vallee who noted the speaker had worked with him for years on various cases. Luc Dini is a retired military engineer who worked in R and D programs and experimentations.experimentation.
Luc Dini heads a team of 1500 members in a scientific organization "3AF Sigma2 Technical Commission on UAP":
"UAP is a matter of physical presence, not a dream of lunatics."
Dini discussed example cases that were explained and some remaining unexplained. He also noted a variety of shapes.
After the presentation by Dini, Dr. Skafish interviewed another French military engineer who had attained the rank of General: General Pierre Bescond. Bescond had been part of the official French UFO agency (founded 1977) that in 1999 produced the ground breaking COMETA report. General Bescond expressed his agreement with that report's conclusion that a small portion of examined sightings represented a technology in action beyond human achievement.

The next speaker yesterday in Italy at The Sol Foundation gathering was Peter Skafish, an anthropologist and foundation co-founder. He was introduced by Stanford biologist and his co founding partner Garry Nolan ("I'm one glass of wine in so i hope I don't slur"). Nolan reported that David Grusch was initially involved with the two co founders and that they benefited from two big donors.
Skafish spoke from a written text on the theme of The Social, Ontological, and Political Problem. He realized halfway thru that its an earlier draft so he gracefully shifted to speaking without text. Hopefully his final draft will be posted soon as a paper because his points were imo very important.
I will just highlight a few basic points:
We are at a rapid transition point in our collective human story.
The (various) Others (Skafish's preferred term for the NHI) are a complex, unique, and elusive problem to ponder, more so than commonly assumed. Testimony is primary. Databases are based on us as human beings in relation to The Others.
The social sciences are critically needed to address this aspect since the matter involves not a relationship between objects but instead one between human subjects and multiple, varied non-human subjects. It's probably wrong to assume we can't understand their subjectivity as we all have a relationship with them and experiencers have a more intense version of them.
"Experiencers are key."
Skafish noted that many address or regard this subject with superficial excitement and mere curiosity and recommends an "equilibrium point of sober regard".
Skafish also said it was important not to bypass an examination of the possibility of existing threats posed by the "UAP presence".
The next speaker, a religious studies university professor from North Carolina named Diana Walsh Pasulka, introduced the history of Marian apparitions (documented since the 16th century) and discussed that in the theoretical context of the ideas of a former NASA chief historian, and an exobiologist, named Stephen J. Dick. She reports that he proposes a theory that points to higher order of beings in a post-biological state of life.
Pasulka mentions several well known and documented Marian apparition events, some centered around children receiving telepathic messages, and feels that they share enough similarities with UFO encounters to justify a comparative study. She noted as similiar the case of the children encountering the message conveyed by the alien in the 1994 Zimbabwe schoolyard incident.
Pasulka noted that Stephen Dick (she said as an astronomer he's part of the Galileo Project with Loeb at Harvard) may not agree with all her interpretations of his writings. She describes his view as suggesting cultural evolution is a constant that may lead civilization and life forms to a post biological state. The development of self-replicating AI is a stage in that process.
She further relays his point that preservation, the intelligence principle and enhancement are driving evolutionary forces.
These are the shared features between UAP encounters and Marian apparition incidents that Pasulka identifies:
~~Aerial Phenomena
~~Celestial phenomena
~~Luminous beings
~~Levitation
~~Telepathic
~~Messages of apocalypse
One key feature she notes: these "higher order beings" in their messaging use symbols and images familiar and understandable to us.

The next speaker was a theoretical physicist from Austria named Karl Svozil who shared his thoughts regarding the importance of addressing seriously the UFO subject. He expressed frustration that there is still no theory unifying general relativity with quantum level realities.
Jacques Vallee then stepped up for a long presentation, identified as a part one segment!. His topic was the revisiting of an old UFO case from December 1966, originating from a family of four who witnessed a 9 meter wide glowing sphere pulsing from white to orange in a small clearing in an industrial forest spanning the highway at the Louisiana and Arkansas border.
The father/husband was an atomic physicist and measured the energy as being at the level of a nuclear power plant. He restarted the car and fled and reported to the Air Force.
Vallee recounted in detail his involvement with investigating this case with Hynek, Project Blue Book, and with Dr. Condon at the University of Colorado. (The Haynesville 1966 case would end up as a significant "unidentified" in 4 pages of an appendix to the infamous Condon Report which essentially dismisses the UFO subject.)
Vallee has reengaged with this case with the help of Luc Dini and his French team. Here is a report from them in June:
The atomic physicist had collected a sample of the bark from a tree exposed to the UFO and it remains untested due to Vallee waiting for test methods that wouldn't destroy the sample. Others, like Condon, had tested and found high radioactive levels near in time to the incident.
After Vallee there was a Q and A between Nolan and Jake Barber, a retired USAF and later covert government contractor. Barber is part of an experimental field team seeking to summon and document UAP using a technological "dog whistle" and "neuro-meditative" techniques. (At the end of this session Whitley Strieber said he understood why the dog whistle remained, as Barber put it, "our secret sauce", but wanted to know details on the meditation practice. Barber replied he's learning on that front.)
This Skywatcher group of former contractors and "psi assets" is "not going to wait for the government to tell us anything" but they are patriotically concerned not to inadvertently expose valid secrets.
Alot of discussion concerned an August 2024 field operation in the California desert near Palmdale. There they used neuro-meditative means which apparently summoned a white egg craft silently traversing their space at least at an estimated 1800 mph up to 8000 mph. Barber feels NHI enabled video of this. (They may have shown that but video screen on phone too small for me....I did see OK the helicopter/jellyfish video.)
Garry Nolan was out with them at least once and despite having an initial negative reaction to the meditation aspect, he seems supportive.
To date, they've had 6 months of field investigations with alot of false negatives and positives detected but some good data collected. They are currently processing data for a later peer review.
Mention was made of a highly publicized mass sighting event concurrent with a field operation in the California desert.
Looks like this Q and A was the last event before dinner on the first day.

The second day of the Sol Foundation Symposium began with an university political scientist from Germany, Dr. Christian Peters. In 2023 he penned the following Scientific American article:
The title of that article is a good representation of a key point Dr. Peter's makes in the beginning of his talk. A point emphasized Dr. Peter Skafish makes in his day one talk: social scientists need to play a bigger role in the study of UAP.
He further addresses questions surrounding power realities and factors affecting disclosure in a democratic society faced with also safeguarding valid national security needs.
Next, Peter Skafish sat down with Fabio De Masi, a German politician serving as a member of the European Union parliament. De Masi has overriden concern for reputational harm and is at the forefront in advocating for the EU to investigate, track, and analyze UAP reports in order to safeguard air safety and achieve democratic oversight. "Let's do our job in Europe" like (he said) they do in the United States Congress when investigating claims and holding hearings.
He noted that many peers in parliament are interested but consider the subject to be a career killer. De Masi tells Skafish that for him the testimony of David Grusch began reversing his heavy skepticism.
In quoting recent Dutch leadership statements regarding aerial craft intrusions being a complete mystery with unknown origins, he also made the point about needing to prevent war from being triggered by mistaken assumptions about origin (in this case the Russians are assumed by many despite no confirmation of that).
He feels that its not in European interests to wait for American actions on this front and that European data collection needs to be enhanced. He stated the U.S. would itself benefit if info-sharing protocols between Europe and it are developed.
Peter Skafish introduced the next speaker as offering what he said would be for some a controversial talk but that he himself appreciated it. He reported crucial back and forth preceding its presentation.
The Mantis-Grey network with its large scale operation might understandably be concerned that an international judge who teaches global law and SETI policy at Durham University, Dr. Michael Bohlander, has turned his attention their way. He feels their behavior towards abductees causes harm and rises to the level of an international crime. Bohlander shared his awareness (as a student of cases and not as an experiencer himself) of the wide variety beyond this network of Greys where this sort of issue doesn't exist. But concerning the widespread abductions he feels our autonomy should be respected and our consent obtained.
As a lawyer, Bohlander feels witness testimony is very valid and valuable. He says there are methods to find out if testimony can be trusted and that can be applied to abduction narratives (or other types of contacts). Experiencers and in particular abductees are the only people who can take us "inside the ufos" (via their testimony).
Skafish next introduced Sol's Director of Strategy, Maura Mindrila, to speak on "Unfinished Sky: The European Moment from Disclosure to Discovery". He described her impressive background which is also detailed here:
She opens by reporting she was asked to speak on European policy. And begins by describing an organic basis for institutional ignorance and dismissal of matters like the UAP mystery: the limits of our vision (especially compared to some other species) in perceiving what is out there). Maura asserts that evidence for UAP now compels us to ask what is the cost of our sustained ignorance.
Her talk was essentially a call for European institutions to get their act together and she actually uses the United States as a good model to follow: "The United States institutionalizes inquiry, Europe institutionalizes silence".
Maura says the United States created a framework for transparency, and despite noting disclosure prospects dimming last month, she observed that the issue still commands bipartisan support. This American transparency framework, she reports, began when Harry Reid and others in the Senate created the Advanced Aerospace Weapons System Application Project.
Europe is now facing enhanced vulnerability in aerial security and must prepare for dealing with UAP realities to reduce risk of catastrophic consequences.
The United States has made moves already on this front by accepting pilot reports without as much stigmatization exhibited in the past. Europe needs to integrate sensor data into a knowing awareness of the complex airspace web. And begin to form policy coherence regarding UAP and cultivate wisdom and awareness to move beyond tribalism.
"We are facing an epistemological shift." "This may be humanities' great Enlightenment." She further concluded by asserting this could be a unifying moment that with preparation may not destabilize our society.

A retired Rear Admiral and past NOAA Director, Tim Gallaudet spoke next in the afternoon of the 2nd and last day of The Sol Foundation Symposium in Italy.
The Admiral spoke on three things:
1) How the United States stands on disclosure.
2) What's going on internationally.
3) The case for a new international body to lead disclosure (and investigative exposure) efforts.
Gallaudet, who served as NOAA Director during Trump's first term, doesn't see Trump or his administration disclosing anything regarding UAP. He suggested that Trump and his team are obsessed with projecting control and strength so they would avoid revealing vulnerabilities. Galludet has a good friend, normally responsive to him, in the administration who completely ignored his UAP-related correspondence. Most UAP info remains classified in the executive branch.branches.
On the other hand, there are positive signs domestically with continued bipartisan interest in Congress, growing press coverage in a more respectful manner and ambitious civilian investigations exposing UFO realities. Gallaudet also identified the upcoming release of the Age of Disclosure documentary as a potential catalyst in increasing public pressure for disclosure.
Insofar as UAP Disclosure and exposure activity elsewhere, on the world stage, Gallaudet noted what was happening in many settings, either with official actions or private or civilian efforts. He described positive developments in Canada, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Korea, Indonesia, Japan, India, and Europe. And, reported that Russian, Chinese and American executive branch leadership remain suppressive of UAP info.
Gallaudet concluded with the suggestion of creating an international vehicle for leading exposure and disclosure efforts. He acknowledged that MUFON has an international presence and another group exists as a coalition of 27 countries. He doesn't think the UN would be a good choice as he feels they're to dysfunctional and corrupt. Instead he suggests the existing International Astronomical Union assuming this role.
Next to speak was an astrobiologist from the Blue Marble Space Institute of Science, Dr. Jacob Haqq-Misra. His talk title: "Scared of Its Shadow: Situating UAP within the Scientific Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence".
Haqq-Misra reported he has started having conversations beyond his normal study area focusing on biosignatures on exoplanets. He wonders if there is a way to set up UAP study within SETI.
Referencing the excitement and interest of the latest known interstellar visitor, 3I/Atlas, he reported that an interstellar object intercept mission was identified as a priority by the Planetary Science and Astrobiology Decadal Survey 2023-2032. See more regarding that unfolding survey:
He shared an early (May 20 1960) paper in Nature, during the early beginnings of SETI, which described the detection of radio signals method chosen as the path to search for signs of ET. Here:
He asked "why is SETI afraid of its shadow?" and there he pointed to the difficulty during the 1959 proposing of the SETI project that would-be radio astronomers had in being accepted by astrophysicists and astronomers. Incorporating the more deeply stigmatized UFO study as a search for potential signs of ET visitation was then definitely not going to happen. And that attitude didnt change much over time.
Haqq-Misra advocates for a more robust search for technosignatures and alien artifacts on planets and in space within our own solar system. He described (private? unofficial?) efforts to analyze high resolution photos for signs of alien artifacts and technosignatures (beyond what WE left on Mars and the moon).
Other search areas suggested (with already some SETI support or involvement in some cases) that may aid UAP studies:
~~~looking for probes from elsewhere. We already have our own planned probe to our nearest neighbor (Breakthrough Star Shot).
~~~non terrestrial artifact search (noted in previous paragraph).
~~~search via a probe to an area within the "Earth-Moon Lagrangian Points.
~~~search for transients in photographic plates. (Already big news on that front!)
In the end the speaker expressed optimism about the SETI "culture" changing. [Note: watch his q and a with audience when video available...I skipped that.]

The next presentation in the afternoon of the 2nd day of The Sol Foundation Symposium included a sit-down conversation with Peter Skafish questioning Dr. Anna Brady-Estevez and Jonathan Berte.
The presentation was titled "Disclosure-Forward Investment, Technology, And Infrastructure". Brady-Estevez is the founder of an investment firm called American Deep Tech and a former Director of the National Science Foundation. Berte is the founder of an artificial intelligence business in Europe and serves on The Sol Foundation board.
I really didnt grasp alot of the content but there was an interesting discussion by Berte who criticized the main high profile AI tools as being a "broken ecosystem of knowledge", creating "a communication crisis" that AI is making worse. The big existing models are cheap, fast and "reflects our biases" and " mirrors our confusion". Berte is engaged in "trying to repair the architecture of knowledge" by bringing new AI tech.
Here are some slides partially representing Brady-Estevez's content:
The last presentation of the 2nd day was from Roberto Pinotti on "Italy and The History of UAP: From Magenta to Project Titan".
Magenta refers to the location in Northern Italy of an alleged UFO crash inJune 1933. Pinotti received document files that detail that and a study effort initiated by Mussolini. David Grusch mentioned this case during his testimony in a Congressional hearing in the summer of 2023.
Over the next couple of days I should be able to finish summarizing remaing talks from the 3rd and final day. Pending:

Dan Farah, producer of Age of Disclosure documentary where high level officials confirm UAP reality, is a guest on Bill Maher's program tonight. CNN is one broadcast outlet.
--------------------------------------------------------
Finishing Sol Foundation Symposium summaries:
On the last day, October 27th, there were three presentations concluding this gathering. I will detail just the first where Marik von Rennenkampf sat down for a discussion with James Fowler.
Fowler was co founder and technology director of the Skywatcher project. In the October 27th diary entry there is a summary of the Skywatcher project informed by a conversation between Garry Nolan and Jack Barber.
Fowler tells the story of how Skywatcher came to be. He had retired from the government after 20 years and was engaged as a contractor with other contractors in war games for the government, with various technology deployed.
On the last day they saw that a fleet of 7 UAP had diverted from a path to apparently observe their activities. The government denied it was their craft. This incident caused quite a stink, shocking everyone.
The Skywatcher field investigations were an effort basicly based on summoning UAP via a technological dog whistle and meditative/psi reaching out. The dog whistle development began in 2022 and now that Fowler has a new contract with the government the dog whistle tech is available in that context and no longer for Skywatcher field investigations. Apparently it requires coordination with the FCC to use, is expensive and sharing g it is not an option. Fowler says it entails radar, 3 discrete signals and activity on the ground.
Skywatcher is now not doing investigations in the field. Through 6 field work in 2024 and 2025 they gathered alot of data and are now curating it. They have discerned 11 types of UAP.

Back in the 80s and 90s Bill Maher would ridicule the subject. I know because I watched and noted that, as he himself acknowledged that was the case back then.Last Friday night (Saturday night on CNN) he said it was the most important subject. His own analysis seemed to result in a sigh of relief, given the documented alien attention to nukes and the incidents where they turned them on in Russia and off here (at Malmstrom). He noted that ufo folks back then were regarded as kooks. I see UFOs all the time, most everyone does. Just because I don’t know what a flying object is, doesn’t mean it must be an alien from outer space. I also see unidentified critters often. Should I assume they are from outer space as well? I also often see unidentified people that look strange. Are they aliens from space?

Did you say anecdotal? Is that all you have? Where is the evidence? I am still waiting and you are still evading us with silly diversions. I have written a book on this subject, it is in over 600 libraries. I give lectures. Where are your books and lectures? I would like to see them.

Yes, you previously made me aware of your expertise. MUFON didnt train us back in the 80s to use the pic and film evaluation tools but these days I noticed field investigators there get trained in this.I suppose I could spend some time compiling links to film and pics in cases with an accompanying written report….I’ll tag you when I do. Theres no way for us to attach images or video in comments, directly…has to be links.
The National UFO Reporting Center has a gallery page of drawings and paintings sent to them so I can link that easily now and later I will go through individual reports for pics and video:https://nuforc.org/gallery/
I quickly scanned California reports for video and here’s a recent report from Torrance, giving an example of the reporting format….video is inconclusive of course or maybe someone can id a prosaic naturehttps://nuforc.org/sighting/?id=193420

“….you want me to spend my time posting the large number of pictures and videos accompanying many of the written posts at https://nuforc.org ??”
One commenter at that site writes: (Demons! It’s always the damned demons.)
Ufo’s are #1). Angels. True.#2). Demonic creatures. True.#3). Man-made machines. True. There are zero, zip, nada……creatures from “outer space”. Outer – space……does not exist. Above us is the firmament, where God placed the sun, moon & stars.

Chuck, the wide variety of beings reported in close encounters of the 3rd kind cases are biological but some do have awesome features and a few stirring up alot of fear.In the middle to late 1960s 3 key ufologists put forth the occult or interdimensional theory (Hynek, Vallee and Keel) and around the same time Billy Graham suggested the aliens were angels. They’re ET who can get here fast via localized warping. In 1994 a physicist named Miguel Alcubierre produced the equation describing that process.
